Luxair becomes European launch customer for B737-7

On day 3 of the Paris Air Show, Boeing announced that Luxair will become the European launch customer for the B737-7. In total, the airline has placed an order for four MAX7s, continuing with its fleet renewal plans.

Earlier this year, the airline already placed orders for four B737-8s and will also be leasing two B737-8s. These two are to be delivered later this year.

With these four orders, Luxair has ordered ten MAXs, enough to replace its current fleet of four B737-700s, and four B737-800s. Next to the Boeings, it also operates eleven DHC-8-400s and wet-leases a Embraer ERJ190.
