Macquarie AirFinance orders MAX8s
The second day of the 2024 Farnborough Air Show brought an order for Boeing from Macquarie AirFinance, which is doubling its MAX-orderbook by placing an order for 20 B737-8s.
Although the lessor is doubling its orders for the MAX, it's the first order it has placed directly with Boeing. It's current order for 20 was taken-over from lessor ALAFCO in 2023.
