Mandarin Airlines orders a single ATR72-600
On 11 October 2024, ATR announced it has received an order for a single ATR72-600 from Mandarin Airlines. According to the press-release, the aircraft is set to be delivered in the first quarter of 2026.
Currently, Mandarin Airlines has a fleet of twelve ATR72-600s and held open orders for another three aircraft. These deliveries are planned for the third and fourth quarter of next year. This additional order expands the open orders to four.
Mandarin Airlines was founded in 1991 and is part of the China Airlines Group. Since 2022, the airline is an all ATR-operator when it phased out its final Embraer ERJ190s. In the past, the company also operated the Airbus A340-300, Boeing B737-800, B747SP, B747-400, Fokker 50, Fokker 100, McDonnell-Douglas MD-11, and Saab 340.
