Marabu Airlines welcomes 1st aircraft

On 12 April 2023, Marabu Airlines welcomed its first aircraft. The aircraft, Airbus A320neo ES-MBU (6799), was delivered on this date from Woensdrecht to Nuremberg. There, it conducted a few trainings flights before being positioned to the airline's base at Munich on 14 April 2023. A day later, it flew its first commercial flight, which went to Palma de Mallorca.

Marabu Airlines is a subsidiary of investment company Attestor, which also owns Condor. It plans to fly with six A320neos, based at Hamburg and Munich. Three of the six will be operated by partner Nordica. Marabu will work closely with Condor as the flights of the start-up will also be sold through the Condor sales-network.
