MYAirline suspends operations

On 12 October 2023, MYAirline suspended all operations due to financial difficulties. According to a published statement, the airline had tried to secure new capital but wasn't able to reach a deal on time to prevent a shutdown. The airline will no undergo a restructuring with the hope to return to the air. As a result of the suspension, the Malaysian civil aviation authorities has suspended the airline's Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) for the coming 90 days.

MYAirline launched operations late last year. Earlier this year, the company announced it secured ten additional leased Airbus A320s to support its expansion plans.

At the time of its suspension, MYAirline's fleet consisted of eight A320s.
