Operated by Quality Aviation LLc, CN235M-100 registered N595QA (construction number C-143), made a one hour refueling stop at Malta/Luqa on 1 March 2021. The aircraft was on a flight from Seville/San Pablo (Spain), where it arrived on 28 February, to Amman/Marka (Jordan).
According to the FAA registry, the aircraft is operated by Quality Aviation LLc, which is registered in Boulder (CO). The Scramble database has this aircraft previously registered as N187D and N387AB with Devon Holdings & Leasing Inc. in Delaware.
In February 2020, the CN235M was sold to Quality Aviation LLc as N387AB. In March 2020, the aircraft was re-registered as N883AX and to N595QA in August 2020. However, according to the FAA it was already registered N595QA in February 2020. We at Scramble assess that the aircraft is linked to a secretive US Agency.
In 2015, the same CASA routed through Malta as N387AB. The purpose of the current visit to Spain and further to Jordan is unknown at this moment.
