Nauru Airlines plans fleet replacement

Nauru Airlines has issued a RFP in which the airline seeks offers to buy (used) B737-700s or B737-800s to replace its current fleet of B737-300s. It hopes to take delivery of a first plane later this year.

The airline currently has a fleet of four B737-300s, two of which are cargo aircraft. It was founded (as Air Nauru) in 1969 and has its headquarters at Nauru. From there it flies to Brisbane, Majuro, Nadi, Tarawa and Yaren.
