New Austrian airline: LILIAIR

With a press-conference on 20 December 2022, a new start-up airline in Austria has presented itself to the world. The airline is called LILIAIR and is launching flights on 23 April 2023 from its base at Klagenfurt. Initially, it will launch with two CRJ900s, one of which was presented during the press-conference in the airline's livery. This CRJ900 is currently registered as N15081 (15081) and is the former D-ACKE of Lufthansa.

From Klagenfurt LILIAIR is planning to intially start twice-daily flights to Frankfurt, later expanding with Hamburg, Munich and, potentially, Milan. In the coming months the airline will use its sole aircraft to for crew trainings and to obtain it's Air Operator's Certificate (AOC).
