Policia Federal takes delivery of 1st ERJ175

At a ceremony at Brasilia, the Policia Federal has welcomed its first of two ERJ175s. The aircraft, still wearing 2-RLBZ (17000341), will be registered PS-DPF. It's a former flybe aircraft (G-FBJF) and has been prepared by Embraer's subsidiary OGMA at Alverca in Portugal since August 2020. The second ERJ175 is 2-RLBY (17000336), which will become PS-CAV and is also coming from flybe (where it flew as G-FBJE). That aircraft is expected to arrive early next year.

The two ERJ175s will be used to upgauge the (passenger) transport capacity of the Policia Federal and will join a fleet of two ERJ145s, which have been in use with the police since 2006.
