Porter Airlines firms-up options on E195-E2s

Porter Airlined announced on 29 November 2023 that it has firmed-up options with Embraer for the E195-E2. In total, the airline is expanding its firm orders with 25 additional aircraft. With this deal, it now has firm orders for a total of 75 E195-E2s.

Porter Airlines took delivery of its first E195-E2 in December 2022 and now has 23 in the fleet. The Embraers are mainly used out of Toronto-Pearson, Ottawa, Halifax, and Montréal. There are flown to domestic and international destinations. Next to the E195-E2s, the airline also operates a fleet of 29 DHC-8-400s.
