Royal Jordanian to increase Dreamliner-fleet
Royal Jordanian is planning to increase its Dreamliner-fleet by having signed a lease-agreement with AerCap for the lease of three Boeing B787-9s. The aircraft are scheduled to be delivered in the summer of 2025 and early 2026. It will be the first B787-9s in the fleet.
Despite financial struggles, the airline is forging ahead to renew its fleet. Last year, Royal Jordanian announced it had decided to acquire 20 Airbus A320neo-family aircraft as well as ten Embraer E190/E195E2s. These aircraft will also be leased.
Today, Royal Jordanian's fleet consists of five A319s, seven A320s, two A321s, and seven B787-8. The airline is also operating a single A310F.
