SalamAir orders Embraer E195-E2

On 30 September, SalamAir and Embraer signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for an order for twelve E195-E2s. Once finalized, the airline expects to take delivery of its first E195-E2s by November 2023 and the remaining nine until 2026.

SalamAir, which is a low-cost carrier, was launched in 2016 and started flying a year later. It has its base at Muscat and currently operates six Airbus A320neos and four A321neos.
