Silk Way West Airlines orders additional B777F

On 18 March 2024, Silk Way West Airlines announced it has ordered an additional Boeing B777F. The aircraft is most likely the one Boeing announced as ordered by an undisclosed customer in its February 2024 orders overview. According to the airline, delivery is scheduled for 2025.

In June 2022, Silk Way West Airlines ordered five B777Fs, of which two have so far been delivered. All six should be delivered by 2027. Next to these aircraft, the airline also has open orders with Boeing for two B777-8Fs and two Airbus A350Fs, which are planned for delivery by 2030.

Next to its two B777Fs, Silk Way is operating a fleet of seven B747-400Fs and five B747-8Fs.
