SKS Airways leases E195-E2s
On 25 May 2023, SKS Airways from Malaysia signed an agreement with lessor Azorra Aviation for the lease of E195-E2s. In total, the carrier will lease ten E195-E2s, the first of which is scheduled for delivery next year.
The acquisition of the jets is a big step-up for the carrier, which is operating out of Subang Airport. Currently, it has two DHC-6-300s, which SKS Airways is using to serve Redang and Tioman Islands. It has, however, big ambitions to connect more and further away destinations from Subang with its new jets.
SKS Airways launched operations in 2022 and is part of the SKS Group, which manages and developes properties, retail and hotels in Malaysia.
