Sky High welcomes 1st ERJ190

On 30 May, Sky High from the Dominican Republic, welcomed its first of two ERJ190s. The aircraft, P4-KCK (19000657), arrived on this date at the airline's base at Santo Domingo after a flight from Macon (GA). The Embraer will be registered in the Dominican register soon and then start commercial operations. Both Embraers are leased via TrueNoord and are former Air Astana-aircraft, the other being P4-KCI (19000604). This aircraft will be delivered later this month.

The airline plans to utilize its new ERJ190s on existing destinations as well as opening up new ones in Central, North and South America. Sky High, which launched operations ten years ago in 2012, currently operates a fleet of three ERJ145s. From Santo Domingo it flies to Aruba, Anguilla, Antigua, Bonaire, Guadaloupe, Haiti, Martinique, Sint Maarten, St. Kitts and Tortóla.
