SkyWest orders more ERJ175s

During the presentation of its Q3-2023 earnings, SkyWest announced it has ordered additional Embraer ERJ175s. In total, the carrier will take 19 more ERJ175s, which will be used for its United Express-operations. Deliveries are due to begin in the final quarter of next year.

SkyWest is the world's largest operator of the ERJ175 and currently has 275 of them in the fleet. It operates the type for Alaska Airlines, American Eagle, Delta Connection and United Express. Next to the Embraers, SkyWest also operates 163 CRJ200s, 131 CRJ700s, and 44 CRJ900s, allmost all of them for the big US-carriers.
