Skywriting is hot!

Rather than flying around for hours on end from A to B to C, etc., (in order to gain flight time experience for low time or experienced pilots), there is now a new trend in aviation: skywriting. This is a very good technique to sharpen flying skills and write a message in the sky, making sometimes quite steep turns.

With ADS-B technology (making flight paths visible in real time) aircraft can make shapes like hearts, Christmas trees, and even aircraft shapes, but written messages are getting more common now as well.

Taking the recent events in the Ukraine, a Polish pilot took it upon himself to skywrite a very useful message: Make Beer, Not War, with a heart-shape at the end.
