SMBC Aviation Capital orders more A320neos

Japansese aircraft lessor SMBC Aviation Capital has signed a contract with Airbus to purchase 60 more A320neo-family aircraft. Delivery of the new Airbuses is planned to begin to SMBC-customers in 2028.

SMBC over the years already placed orders with Airbus for 147 A320neos and 55 A321neos. With this latest order, the total number of directly ordered A320neo-family aircraft will be 262.
