Southwest orders additional B737-7s

On 26 October 2023, Boeing announced it reached an agreement with Southwest Airlines for more Boeing B737MAX7s. In total, the American low-cost carrier is ordering 108 additional B737-7s.

Southwest is the largest customer for the MAX. Once this order is finalized, it will have 441 open orders for the MAX. It already operates 208 B737-8s, next to 400 B737-700s and 207 B737-800s.
