STARLUX welcomes 1st A330neo

On 18 February, STARLUX Airlines has taken delivery of its first of eight leased A330-900s. The aircraft, B-58301 (2003) left Toulouse-Blagnac after a short ceremony for Taipei-Taoyuan International.

The airline expects to take delivery of three additional A330-900s this year and plans to fly the type to destinations like Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh, Singapore and Tokyo. The delivery also marks the arrival of STARLUX' first widebody aircraft, joining a fleet of eight A321neos. Later this year, the airline also expects to take delivery of its first of eighteen A350s, which it plans to utilise on new long-haul destinations in the US and Europe.
