Start-up Fly4 gears-up for launch
Fly4 is gearing up for launch by getting its first aircraft painted. The new, Ireland-based, start-up is a joint-venture of TUI and Enter Air and will offer Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance & Insurance (ACMI)-services.
The new company is set to launch later this year starting with four former TUI Boeing B737-800s. These are:
- EI-FFA B737-8K5 (38097), former TUI G-TUKM and arrived at Shannon for painting on 15 January 2024
- EI-FFB B737-8K5 (37243), currently in service with TUI as G-TAWL
- EI-FFC B737-8K5 (37251), currently in service with TUI as G-TAWN
- EI-FFD B737-8K5 (40944), currently in service with TUI as OO-JAY
Initially, the ACMI-services will be conducted for its two shareholders but the airline aims to become one of the leading ACMI-providers in Europe, servicing also other airlines.
