Start-up MYAirline inches to launch

Malaysian start-up MYAirline is inching towards launch, with the airline starting proving flights on 3 September 2022. The airline hasn't communicated its official launch date but has until the end of the year to secure its Air Operator's Certificate.

MYAirline will be an ultra low-cost carrier and has, so far, taken delivery of three Airbus A320s. The proving flights are being conducted by 9M-DAC (5661), while the fleet also consists of 9M-DAG (4088) and 9M-DAH (4126).

The airline will be operating out of Kuala Lumpur but hasn't announced which destinations it will serve but will be a direct competitor to AirAsia.
