Start-up Sentra Airways leases 1st aircraft
Sentra Airways is a new start-up in the United Kingdom, which is planning to connect Manchester with, initially, Accra in Ghana. Originally, the airline was planning to launch last year but this was delayed due to the pandemic until winter this year.
The start-up airline has secured a lease-agreement with Air Lease Corporation for its first aircraft, which is A330-200 c/n 1138. The Airbus was previously in use with Sichuan Airlines as B-6517 and was recently retired from active duty.
