Teleport launches A321P2F-flights

On 16 July 2023, Teleport launched its Airbus A321P2F-flights with its first aircraft of that kind. Teleport, which is the cargo-venture of AirAsia's owner Capital A, took delivery of A321-211P2F 9M-TLA (1607) on 27 June 2023. It's the first of three A321P2Fs, which will be leased from BBAM and operated by AirAsia.

Initially, the cargo carrier will utilize the aircraft between Kuala Lumpur and Kota Kinabalu. Later, it will expand its operations by flying to Hong Kong.

By adding dedicated cargo airplanes, Teleport is planning to boost the company's e-commerce logistics operations. It has big ambitions to operate up to 100 cargo aircraft by 2030.
