On 3 February 2025, Textron Aviation announced the delivery of the first Cessna 408 SkyCourier twin turboprop to Canada. The aircraft, msn 408-0028, was registered as C-GSRW on 14 January.

The SkyCourier was delivered to Air Bravo, which primarily operates the Pilatus PC-12 throughout Ontario. The company uses the PC-12 for passenger, cargo, and air ambulance flights. The newly delivered SkyCourier is in the freighter configuration, offering a significantly larger payload than the PC-12, though with some trade-offs in range and cruising speed.

It has not been announced whether Air Bravo has additional aircraft on order or if other Canadian operators have also purchased the SkyCourier.

Like its predecessor, the Cessna 208, the 408 was developed to meet a requirement from FedEx Express and has since gained several operators. Currently, more than thirty SkyCouriers are in service with approximately ten operators, with FedEx being the largest.
