Titan Airways takes delivery of 1st A321PF
On 7 January, Titan Airways took delivery of their first of three A321-200PFs. The aircraft, still registered G-DHJH (1238), left Singapore-Seletar on its way to the UK. Once arrived in the UK, it will become G-POWY. The aircraft is a former Thomas Cook-aircraft and was at Seletar for conversion since January last year.
Initially, the airline will operate the A321PF alongside its two B737-400(F)s, but the plan is to eventually move to an all-Airbus cargo-fleet. On the passenger side of its business, Titan Airways is also planning to switch to an all-Airbus-fleet, but currently has a fleet of one A318, two A319s, four A321-200s, one A321-200N and two B757-200s with an additional A321-200N and A330-200 planned to be added later this year. Both A321neos will replace their B757s.
