Transavia takes delivery of 1st A321neo

19 December 2023 will go down in the books as an important date for the Air France-KLM Group as it marks the day that started the narrowbody-fleet renewal and expansion at KLM and Transavia by taking delivery of its first Airbus A321neo. Transavia (Netherlands) received the keys to A321-251NX PH-YHZ (11702) at a special ceremony at Hamburg-Finkenwerder after which the aircraft was ferried to Schiphol.

Air France-KLM ordered 100 A320neo-family aircraft in 2022. It also secured various leased-aircraft to speed up the renewal process and also holds 60 options.

Next in line to receive a brand new Airbus will be Transavia (France), which will welcome an A320neo in January 2024. KLM expects its first A320neo in mid-2024.

Transavia is outfitting its A321neos with a total of 232 seats and will launch commercial operations on 5 January 2024.
