With a small ceremony at Schiphol on 4 November, TUI fly said goodbye to its final Boeing B767-300ER. The aircraft involved, PH-OYJ (29384) conducted its final flight on 3 November and was ferried to Istanbul a day later.
TUI and its predecessors Arke and Arkefly operated the type since 2005 and used them on long-haul as well as popular Mediterranean destinations.
The retirement also marks the end of B767s operated by Dutch airlines. Over the years the type saw service with Air Holland, Arke, HollandExel, KLM, Martinair and TUI fly.
The fleet of TUI fly Netherlands is now made-up of six B737-8s and four B787-8s.
