TUI welcomes 1st E195-E2

On 5 May 2023, TUI welcomed its first of three Embraer E195-E2s. The aircraft, registered EI-GYW (19020049), arrived at Brussels from Shannon on this date and will become OO-ETB. The other two are planned to arrive in the coming weeks as well.

TUI announced it had signed a lease-agreement with AerCap for the trio in October 2022, and is planning to base its new jets at Antwerp. It will replace its current fleet of four ERJ190s. Thanks to its increased range compared to the ERJ190s, TUI is able to fly to new and further away destinations.
