A321N TurkishAirlines 640Turkish Airlines leases additional A321neos

On 9 July 2024, AerCap announced it has entered into a new lease-agreement with Turkish Airlines. The deal is for ten new Airbus A321neos, which will come from the lessors existing orderbook it has with the manufacturer. No delivery timeline has been communicated.

Today, Turkish Airlines' fleet of Airbus A321neos is made-up of 53 A321-200NXs. It also has open orders with Airbus for 185 more A321neos.

The airline is planning to use the new Airbuses as part of its fleet renewal plans but also to cover for the parking of Airbus A320/A321neos due to issues with, and replacement of engines, which has been haunting customers of new aircraft for years now.
