Ukraine International to add B777-300s
According to local aviation website avianews.com, Ukraine International Airlines is planning to add two B777-300s to the fleet. It's currently unclear if the two will be -ERs or regular -300s and where they are coming from. The site is speculating the two will be coming from Emirates.
The airline will deploy the two aircraft mainly on behalf of tour operator KOMPAS on routes from Kiev to Cancun, Malé and Punta Cana. As the flights are to start in December, the aircraft are set for delivery in the coming months. When the B777s are not used for KOMPAS, Ukraine International will use them for charters or scheduled destinations in its network.
Currently, the airline's fleet consists of thirteen B737-800s, four B737-900ERs, two B767-300ERs and one B777-200ER.
