Zeitfracht announces expansion of German Airways
Zeitfracht, the owner of German Airways, has announced it has big plans to expand the operations of German Airways. Firstly, the airline is relocating its headquarters from Cologne-Bonn to Rostock-Laage as Zeitfracht acquired the civil part of the joint civil/military-airport.
At Rostock-Laage, Zeitfracht plans to expand the fleet of German Airways with five new ATR72-600Fs, which it will use to fly cargo for Zeitfracht as well as third parties. The company is also planning to expand its ACMI-operations by adding four additional ERJ190s, of which one was already delivered last month. Two are to follow this year and the remaining one next year.
Currently, German Airways has a fleet of five ERJ190s and two PC-12s.
