At the end of a short City break, the following were noted at Beirut Rafic Hariri Int’l airport between 09:20 and 12:10 on 22nd Feb 19.
The airport is home to a number of elements of the Lebanese Airforce although these are not visible from the terminal building or any of the lounges so you have to hope to taxi past to have any chance of seeing any military. Fortunately the AC-208 and Tucano taxied past the lounge.
The Military ramps were full of helicopters but only a few were identified.
The Biz ramp is at the far end of the taxi way, next to the Air Force hangers. Everything is readable as long as the take off runway is favorable.
This is a very quite airport, with long periods of zero movements so it is pot luck as to what you will see.
