Condor's damaged Boeing 757 does not return quickly

An Air Europa Boeing 737 and a Condor Boeing 757 collided at Palma de Mallorca Airport.
One of the planes is flying again.

It happened on September 19th 2023 at Palma de Mallorca Airport.

There an Air Europa Boeing 737 collided on the apron with a Condor Boeing 757 .

The Spaniards with the registration EC-MJU
rammed the right elevator of the machine
with the registration D-ABOJ of the German holiday airline with the left wing tip.

Air Europa's Boeing 737 was able to resume scheduled service on September 25th.
There is no such quick return for Condor's Boeing 757.
The plane is still at Palma Airport, most recently near the Air Europa hangar.

It's not yet clear how long the repair will take

A Condor spokeswoman confirmed this and said:
“The machine is being technically examined and checked by experts.”
To achieve this, we are working with all relevant authorities and specialists,
including the German Federal Agency for Aircraft Accident Investigation.

“It is not yet clear when the repairs will be completed and the aircraft will be used again,” said the spokeswoman.
