I wonder what the damage at Matsushima air base will be as it is near Sendai and only a few hundred meters from the sea!

OMG! I get chickenskin when I see the picture, esspecially as I have seen the surrounding buildings and cities. To put it a bit into perpective I have put a picture of last year beside it. You can see the building in the tsunami picture in front of the blue tower. Whole Matsushima must have been washed away!

Damage seems incredible. 1000+ lives lost... Footage shown everywhere is absurd, you see people leaving cars and then there is 'water', consuming them.

Haneda(Tokyo Int'l AP), operation normal.
Narita(New Tokyo Int'l AP), operation normal.
Ibaraki AP closed due to the building broken.
JASDF Hyakuri AB, operation normal.
Sendai AP closed dut to the Tsunami.
JGSDF Kasuminome, Tsunami water came on 11 Mar, but Active now.
Hanamaki AP(RJSI) close due to the facilites were broken.
Yamagata AP, operetion 24Hrs now.
JMSDF/JGSDF Hachinohe, operation normal.
JASDF/USAF Misawa, operation normal.
JMSDF Ohminato, operation normal.
Aomori AP, operation normal.
