Uruguay to shut down bankrupt flagship carrier Pluna

Found the following message in my mailbox:
Reports from South America indicate that the Govt of Uruguay has decided to close Pluna, following investment fund Leadgates decision to pull out of Pluna. Most of the staff are to be made redundant.

There is some talk about starting a new Urugyuan carrier to replace Pluna, but that remains to be seen.
