GAMSTAT Valence Meeting Aérien June 1st

Hi Guys,

I'm thinking of going to the GAMSTAT Valence Meeting Aérien on June 1st, http://www.meeting-gamstat-valence.com/news.php, can anyone tell me if this show is worth going to? What are the photo conditions like seeing as the runway runs almost north / south?

I've never been to an air show with a large participation of helicopters before and I fancy going to this show, that's why I'm asking.

Known for sure already are Belgian A-109, Swiss Cougar and Hungarian Mi-17. Almost certain to show up are German BO-105 and Tiger as a Czech Mi-24.

Also there is a rumour about a "big surprise" to show up, first appearance on an airshow in France. Not a helicopter but a jet-plane. Will let you know if I know more about this.
