A F-15J of 304sqn, S/N is told 72-8882(not sure by now). crashed today.
It happend off Yamaguchi pref., around 1620pm, Sep.11. and the pilot was safe.

I think there will be no flight next week at the F-15 Sqn. in Japan.
because of the safty check.
And this means no F-15 demo- flt at Komatsu OH.

If everything goes well, one F-4(37-8312, Black painted Phantom) will come to Komatsu on Friday morning and will have demo-rehearsal in the aternoon. B.I. will come on Saturday.(Source from Komatsu city official HP, JPN only.)

It seems to be 72-888"3" that crashed on Sep.11.
There are no official comments for the S/N by now.
But the left V-fin was floating on the sea, so we could read the S/N.


The" Black Phantom" 37-8312 / 8Sqn. was displayed at Misawa OH on Sep.7.

JASDF said that special inspections were done on 89 F-15J/DJs by the evening of sep.16. and they re-start their traing from Sep.17..

There are no official announcements about the S/N of the crashed F-15.

1 Oct. 1130am- B.I. fly-by at Yokohama bay area.
Nice to see around Yokohama Grand Inter Continental Hotel at Minato-Mirai area, near the JR Sakuragi-cho station.

4, 5 Oct. 1300pm- Demo-flt. by OH-1, UH-1, SH-60, US-1A, CH-47, and BK-117 at the same place, Yokohama.

Oct. 21 MU-2S last (Local) flight and a ceremony will be done at
Hamamatsu AB. It will held in front of the JASDF museum
at 1310pm. (Entrance free)

Oct. 22 MU-2S Last flight will be done in the afternoon.
33-3227 or 63-3228 will fly from Hamamatsu to
Nyutabaru. She will display as one of the gate-guardian.

Other Info.
1. One F-4EJkai will display as the gate-guardian at Nyutabaru.
2. One KV-107 will come to Iruma OH on Nov.3. It must be the
last chance to see her, because she will retire by the end of March
2009(end of the Japanese FY2008).
