Normally the first launch is around 09.30 lt. Ten F-16s appears to be the maximum these days.

Falcon 20s launched at 09.00 lt yesterday and today.

Just came back from a very dark Volkel.

Three FRA Da-20's are parked at the cross-line with the two Mirage 2000's parked in between.

Unfortunately it was already too dark to read any serials.

Anyone??

Best regards, Rob.

PS. Thanks Oscar for the info, otherwise I would have missed those 2000's.

From a press release:

PS Today was pretty much 'tote Hose' at Volkel, apart from the departing Falcon 20s.

Greetings,
Stefan

Hi,

Monday 17 November 2008:

(ZG887) Lynx AH9 AAC crossed the field heading east (serial assumed from notes at Koksijde and Gilze-Rijen)

AFAIK no F-16s flew yesterday (like Friday). Today 2 took-off at 08.00 lt and then it went quiet again until the afternoon.

Greetings,
Stefan

No, it's not open to the public. But I think there are good opportunities from off base

Hi,

Just heard from inside that the arrival of the 4 AMI F-16s is postponed or maybe cancelled due weather circumstances....

Just wait and see.

Regards,

Maurits
