pratica di mare 2009

I have heard during my last holiday in Italy that the annual Italian airshow (Giornata Azzura) which normally takes place at Pratica di Mare will now be held at Rivolto or even Cameri.

Can anyone confirm this and can someone give more details ?

at the moment only voices and it should be correct Rivolto, may 1st. The usual open season display could be the giornata azzurra.
But nothing sure or ufficial yet.

Might be true as in most countries May 1 is a holiday. Holland is the only european country I know of, that doesn't have this day off from work, due to the national April 30 celebrations.

Probably the Italian Air Force air show for the 2009 will be held at Rivolto on 1st May during the season opening of the Frecce Tricolore.
The event will be smaller then the one of Pratica di Mare(Giornata Azzura) but anyway it will see some participants...but nothing know yet about a possible list.

Yes, 1st of May is national holiday (like in many other countries).

that day in Rivolo there is always the season opening of the frecce tricolori. It is a smalla event with some italian partecipants, nothing special. Open to the public.
This year it seems they want to use that day for the Giornata Azzurra.
