La Ferté Alais 30/31 May

Post by Jaap »

After a few weeks of doubts the show seems to be confirmed to go on, without the organizing committee that handled the show the last three years.

(see here).

Voila voila

Small translation of the complete set of pages linked by Jaap: La Ferté show had been organized in the past 3 years by the Larivière organisation on behalf of the Amicale Jean Baptiste Salis. As the numbers of spectators dropped steadily, Larivière appears to have suggested to raise the entry-price for 2009 in order to keep profits up  . This was declined by AJBS and the contract was terminated :P . AJBS now organize the event themselves. Entry fee is down to €20 (was €30 last year), but so is the show -for now-. There is talk of a static exposition in the morning and a reduced number of flying activities in the afternoon, including pleasure flights in Ju52 and one or two 'patrouilles' (suggested: PdF and Breitling). Whether this means that for the rest only based aircraft will be flying or not is still to be decided.
