Afriqiyah Airways Crash Libya 12-05-2010

Hello,

Just on the news, a Afriqiyah Airways Plane Crashed at Tripoli Airport, Libya. 105 people are killed.
The plane was coming from Johannesburg, South Afrika.

Hum :? , thay have three airbus 330 aircraft, the 1st 332 only delivered 9 months ago and the last one 7 months ago...
Foggy conditions while landing and now saying one child of 8 is still living...

NOS (Dutch news) Reports 104 death people, one dutch child has survived.

Does anybody know if the ash clouds were near Libya? Yesterday on the news they mentioned Turkey was affected, although I thought that was a mistake (they mentioned Morocco and Turkey only, why not the countries in between?).

Sad news to loose another A330-200 whats happening to these a/c's :(
I hope the child will make it and R.I.P to the victims, Telegraaf.nl reports that 60 dutch people where involved.

Nothing, until it is proven that the type of plane has anything to do with either of the crashes. So far there is no info, so no need to question the aircraft yet.
