missing Twin Otter in Antarctica

Just confirming the missing Twin Otter in Antarctica is C-GKBC.
 
This aircraft was rebuilt over the last two years after severe damage in an accident in 2010.  The entire rear fuselage was replaced with the fuselage of C-FIZD the Interprovincial Twin Otter that was wrecked when it was accidentally!!, dropped from a helicopter!
 
From what I've read, it appears it only went back into service in October 2012 after 2 years of repairs.

Aircraft was traveling at 192 knots at 13'000 feet when it suddenly stopped according to flight data in New Zealand.

Search teams were able to recover some material from the exposed tail of the plane, including the cockpit voice recorder.
Officials say that could provide investigators with more information about the crash.

They were not able to access and recover the bodies of the crew.

"With the advent of the Antarctic winter, and the generally poor weather conditions at the crash site, any renewed effort to recover the remains will need to wait until the next Antarctic research season," said Antarctica New Zealand.

The next research season starts in October.
