Collector Car Productions is proud to have been chosen as the official auction house to offer for the first time ever by public auction,
arguably the most important aircraft in Canadian aviation history. The 767 was Boeing's first wide-body twin-engine jet and the first
modern airliner with a two-crew 'glass' cockpit featuring digital LCD instrumentation. This particular 767-233 model, delivered to
Air Canada in 1983, was the most technologically advanced passenger jet for its era but because of confusion due to Canada switching
to the metric system at the time it ran out of fuel at 41,000 feet on its way to Edmonton.
