MALDEN - A glider crashed into a tree in Malden on Wednesday.
The plane took off gliding from the glider-field on the Groesbeekseweg using a winch.
The cable snapped, and the glider landed upside down in the tree.
The plane had probably one occupant. According to a spokesman for the gliding center, the acident looks serious.
Currently the Military Open Gliding Championships are in progress in Malden.
