Question: DC-7's still at work

Post by Iwan Bogels »

Hi everybody,

As you may know, three DC-7's are still earning their money as airtankers (waterbombers) in Oregon, USA. But do you know of any other DC-7's which are still earning a living as working / flying aircraft ?

Any help on this matter would be highly appreciated.

Cheers,
Iwan

According Airlinerlist.com (which I generally find a very reliable source) there are still three really flying, the ones you mentioned, and one more could be flying, but is grounded for over two years already awaiting repairs (N863D).
So basically the answer to your question is no.
