Small log from Al Bateen, all seen from my hotelroom. With military and police all over the place, and with previous experience in the UAE, didn't take any risk by trying to peek over the big wall surrounding the field. Planned next stop was the Sheraton Deira, not a UAE police cell. Although the beautifull Al Zayed Mosque is under the flightpath, and will allow for some nice pictures, pretending the Mosque is the subject.

Unfortunaly on the 13th, Friday flying was very limited, weekend off course. Much more could be seen, but due to the distance, could not be read. Several UAE C-130's and CN235's, couple of Italian C-130's and the tail of a white Yak-40. Also several flying Police AB412's where seen, but they all seem to turn the wrong way.
