+ the "blue Etihad" landed on 25R, while we're lining up 25L....ggggrrrrrrrrrr (still chasing this one).
Hope this overview gave you a basic idea of what to expect at SGN; after 2 days, you'll have lot's of repeats (esp. AK/FD/3K/TR).
SQ usually used SR-777's. TG has a mix of 333/772's
AE uses CI 738's now (only 18607/18608 were seen).
the 6 AH-26's NEVER flew and were all covered-up for the Tet-holidays...same with the UH-1 and MI-171...
CI and BR increased capacity from 343 to 744 and 773 to 744 regularly...CZ operated extra flights (mainly 321) to CAN...
Surprisingly, no S7 flights, unlike last year; UN were present both with 744 (MOW) and 763 (OVB)...
Lao MA60 replaced the usual AT7 (not that I mind).
Ofcourse, this all in addition to the many PIC/VJT/HVN and VASCO flights.
For best photography, go to the building with Parkson on top and take the OUTSIDE elevator to the 11th floor (Moonlight Cafe); depending the aircraft-type you need 200-400mm. no problems with binoculars or photography !
