Little help wanted :-). RTAF Airbus identification

Post by stipjes »

Hello,

I hope someone can help me. Yesterday (sep 5th) I visited Hong Kong for a short stop over. I took some pics while in take off and today I spotted a RTAF Airbus on the pics. Does anyone know the exact type? They have three I think, An A.310, A319 and A.320.....

On flightradar the HS-TYT shows some activity this weekend....

A310 HS-TYQ -> no, too small
A320 HS-TYT -> no that one has sharklets, this one still standard wing fences (unless the image is really too blurry)
A319 HS-TYR -> must be this one

Looking at pics via google, comparing wingtips it must be HS-TYR indeed

It looks like it only has one over wing exit too which makes it an A319.

The RTAF A319 HS-TYR arrived in Bangkok on the 5th from overseas as RTAF520 at around 17:00 LT(10:00z).

Thanks for the input! It looks there is no doubt that it is the A.319! Very nice, I did not expect to get one aircraft logged in Hong Kong.
All the help is much appreciated!

That's actually not a distinctive feature in this case. The HS-TYT is an ACJ and only has one over wing exit as well. See.
