At the ceremony to welcome the first two F-35I Adirs on 12th Dec the following were present:
281 F-16A ex 115 sqn (marked 60 years "tayeset" 115)
506 F-16C 101 sqn (thus marked on the badge)
407 F-16I 253 sqn (flew with the new guys the next day)
812 F15C 106 sqn
232 F-15I 69 sqn
Unfortunately no Adirs (901 & 902) who were a bit late, but parked out on the South base were:
661, 662, 665 & 667 (formerly 103) C-130Js of 103 sqn
309, 316, 318, 427, 428 & 522 C-130Es/Hs & KC of 131 sqn plus at least 4 more legacy Herks elsewhere.
All five Gulfstream V/550s and the two remaining Seascans were noted in their area.
